Happy 2008!
New year's eve is usually just another night for me but not this year. S&W, NYE homebodies too, suggested that we go out to celebrate, so we dined on yummy Chinese at Lee Garden with a few friends, and decamped to Czehoski to countdown 2008.
The vibe at Czehoski was perfectly low-key and relaxed. We lounged about, danced some on the tiny dancefloor in the back, and despite best efforts - 6 martinis, a couple glasses of pink bubbly and a broken down golf cart for ol' times sake - I thankfully didn't lose my head. We left soon after last call and while it would have been ideal to begin the new year with a stop at Rolsan - the traditional stop for a late night snack after hours, given how difficult it was to find a cab, we opted to head back to S&W's for frozen perogies and shrimp wonton instead. All in all, a lovely start to the new year.
Whatever your plans, I hope you had yourself a lovely new year's eve too.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I love this picture so much. It rarely snows in Atlanta (once every 3 years or so), so seeing a tree covered with snow is a rare treat!
