First Julia, now Isa

So, I went and bought another Mackage coat Tuesday after lurking on their website for the last 3 months. At the same time I had my eye on Julia, I was considering Isa and decided to pull the trigger after finally getting fed up with how my current 3/4 length wool coat gets all pill-y and lint-y. Considering that I got it in Hong Kong 5 years ago during a particularly cold Christmas there, I consider the value fully amortized.

So, back to Isa, I ordered it Tuesday during my lunch hour and it arrived today by FedEx in a large flat box, so large that I couldn't comfortably carry it home. So I wore it instead. :)

That's really cute! I just got a very nice Nine West 3/4 peacoat at Macy's for wicked cheap - like $62 cheap! It was originally like $350!

That IS wicked cheap! We don't get sales like that in Canada - I think it's a function of customs and duties, weaker purchasing power of retailers because of a smaller population, etc. My sister's planned a day trip into Washington state when I visit in a couple weeks and there's an outlet mall in my future so maybe I can get in on some of that deep discount action then. :)

Well, it was actually on sale for $99, but the saleswoman talked me into opening a Macy's account to save $20 + an addition 15% off! I couldn't pass that deal up, so I did, and paid off the balance on the same day, then cancelled the card when it arrived. Every little bit helps! LOL
